From a moms perspective.How AWESOME is that to be able to go camping with your school mates. We camped at Tanners Flats in Little Cottonwood Canyon. As school let out on Thursday and everyone migrated to the camp site the kiddos jumped, scooted and raced on a pogo stick, scooter, bike & legs. Stopping only for hot dog on a stick roasted over the fire & a gooey melty smore, before they were off again. They tracked down their show and tell for Friday ... deer bones (ewww) and then played hide & seek in the dark with head lamps.
In the morning after a breakfast of pancakes and sausage school began.
"School outside is the best!" I overheard more than once as they finished they're morning test, reading, & math.
